Inspired by the classic Catholic poem, "The May Magnificat" by Jesuit priest Gerard Manley Hopkins, this print is a gorgeous celebration of Our Blessed Mother and of new life.  A beautiful and soft quilt that can be used for playtime, nap time, or as a throw.

DESIGN

Dancing on the deep spruce background are the joyful signs of spring from Fr. Hopkins' poem - cherry and apple blossoms, the throstle on her nest, the cuckoo eggs, feathers, grasses, and blooms. The lamb and bunny leap across the spread welcoming May - the month of Mary. Most important of all, is the Blessed Mother, cradling baby Jesus in her tender arms.

The reverse side of the quilt features a lovely light sky blue-gray stripe.
