This title of the Blessed Mother has been honoured by many popes and faithful in the Church. The original fresco of Our Lady of Good Counsel originated in Genazzano, Italy.
The image is said to have miraculously appeared when a wall of the church crumbled in the 15th century. During this time many pilgrims venerated the image asking for Our Lady's intercession and reported many miracles and healings.
The title Our Lady of Good Counsel was added ot the Litany of Loreto in 1903 by Pope Leo XIII.
