When Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to St. Juan Diego, she was pregnant, which is why she is the patroness of the unborn. The black sash was a symbol of the indigenous peoples of Mexico that she was with child. This plush doll was created as a tribute to the Incarnation and as a celebration of all mothers and their babies!
DESIGN
Featuring a black satin bow tied around her pregnant belly, Our Lady of Guadalupe is dressed in vibrant red with yellow flowers and swirls just like the traditional image of Our Lady found in Mexico. Her bright blue mantle is covered in stars.
