THE DESIGN

The watercolour image on the front of the card is a Rosary held up by a ribbon which says, "This is my body which be given up for you." These words are part of the Eucharistic prayer the priest says during the Consecration. Wheat adorns the ribbon which is a symbol of Jesus who said, "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35_). At the top of the card is the Agnus Dei, or Lamb of God, representing Christ's sacrifice for humanity. In the middle there is a chalice with a host.

Inside the card is an illustration of the host surrounded by an excerpt from Matthew 28:20 and the back of the card has information about the Rosary including its history.
