THE DESIGN 

The front of the card depicts St. Rita, known for her persistence in maintaining her faith throughout very difficult challenges including a difficult marriage, the murder of her husband, and the loss of both of her teenage sons. 

She is shown in her habit, where she spent the last 40 years of her life living out her second vocation in an Augustinian convent. 

The back of the card features the traditional St. Rita novena prayer.
