This prayer card includes the traditional St. Andrew Novena prayer, typically prayed 15 times daily from St. Andrew's Feast Day on November 30th, through December 24th, in preparation for Christmas.

THE DESIGN 

The artwork on this card depicts the Holy Family with the Infant Jesus cradled in the arms of His Blessed Mother Mary with St. Joseph, His Foster Father, looking on in admiration. Increased devotion to the Holy Family began in the 17th century, leading to a feast day added to the General Roman Calendar in 1921, to celebrate them as a role model for families. 

Scenes reflecting their life together have been presented in art for centuries, especially the birth of Jesus at Christmas. 

The back of the card features the traditional St. Andrew Christmas Novena prayer.
